South Sydney Rabbitohs

Classic Sportswear are proud to announce a multi-year extension to their existing partnership with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Classic Sportswear has been the Official Apparel Partner of the Rabbitohs since 2021, producing the on-field and off-field apparel requirements for the Rabbitohs NRL, NSW Cup, NSW Women’s Premiership, Jersey Flegg Cup, SG Ball Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harold Matthews Cop and Lisa Fiaola Cup squads.

Both parties have now agreed to extend this partnership for four more years from 2023 through to the end of the 2026 season.

Synonymous with Rugby League at all levels, Classic Sportswear has been delivering high performance sportswear since 1934. 100% Australian owned, it is recognised throughout the sporting industry for its exceptional products for elite athletes and fans.

Warren Carney, Managing Director at Classic Sportswear, is excited at the opportunity to extend the partnership with the South Sydney Rabbitohs until at least 2026.

“Everyone at Classic Sportswear is excited to be extending our partnership with the Rabbitohs for four more years and it’s been a pleasure working with Blake and his team over recent years.

“The Rabbitohs and Classic have always been part of the fabric of Rugby League and there are great synergies between our two brands, particularly the way the Rabbitohs and Classic harness our wonderful heritage but also continue to evolve and contemporise.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver high quality, innovative products using cutting edge technology, designed for ultimate performance, durability and comfort to the Rabbitohs playing group and all members and fans,” said Carney.

Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, is delighted to be extending the Club’s partnership with Classic Sportswear.

“The last two seasons working alongside Classic Sportswear for our official on-field and supporter wear has been fantastic and we couldn’t be happier to be extending that partnership for a further four years,” Mr Solly said.

“Our players enjoy the cutting-edge technology that goes into their jerseys and playing kit that helps them perform at their best on game day and the feedback from our Members and supporters about the official supporters gear has been first class.

“Classic Sportswear has been a staple of Rugby League in this country since 1934 so it makes sense for the oldest, proudest and loudest Club in the competition to be partnered with them.

“We look forward to the next four years alongside Classic Sportswear, working with Warren and his team on the best kit in the game.”
